Travel Policy
There are no additional travel fees for appointments located within 30 miles of Detroit.
Properties located more than 30 miles from Detroit may require additional review before an appointment can be accepted. Any applicable travel charge will be clearly explained before the customer confirms the appointment.
No undisclosed travel charge will be added after an appointment has been confirmed.
Address Verification
Service availability is determined using the property address provided by the customer.
Before accepting payment or confirming an appointment, the booking system or Metro Detroit Grab Bars representative must verify that the property is located within an area we currently serve.
A city name alone does not guarantee service availability because some communities extend beyond our regular travel radius.
Residential Services
Metro Detroit Grab Bars currently focuses on residential properties, including:
- Single-family homes
- Condominiums
- Townhomes
- Apartments, when proper authorization has been obtained
- Privately occupied senior living residences, when permitted by the property
We do not represent that residential service automatically includes commercial buildings, hospitals, nursing facilities, government properties, or other regulated commercial locations.
Property Authorization
The customer is responsible for confirming that they have the legal authority to approve installation work at the property.
Renters, condominium residents, and residents of managed communities may be required to obtain written approval from the property owner, landlord, condominium association, or property manager before installation.
Service Availability
Service availability may depend on:
- The property’s location
- Current appointment capacity
- Installer availability
- Safe access to the property
- The requested installation area
- Wall construction and mounting conditions
- Property-management requirements
- Weather or travel conditions
- Other safety or operational concerns
Metro Detroit Grab Bars reserves the right to decline or postpone service when the property is outside the active service area or when the requested work cannot be completed safely or legally.
